The WMF initiated the <strong>Feminist Translations Series2<\/strong> as part of its mission towards knowledge production through translation as a process of transferring and reproducing feminist thought in the Arabic Language.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The WMF\u2019s <strong>Feminist Translations Project3<\/strong> works to generate an Arabic glossary of gender and feminist-oriented terminology, which emerges during the process of translation by formulating new terminology in the Arabic language, hence producing new feminist knowledge. Through its <strong>Feminist Translations Project,4<\/strong> the WMF combats the scarcity of scholarly material on gender theory and feminist studies in the Arabic language.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Women and Memory Forum published its<strong> Feminist Translations Series<\/strong> in seven volumes covering various feminist issues in the humanities and social sciences.
