يقدم كتاب ”رحلة في أعماق حواء” رؤية للمرأة تشمل حقوقها الأدبية والاجتماعية والثقافية والروحية من جانب، ومهامها الأساسية والجوهرية بوصفها زوجة وأماً وابنة من جانب آخر، وذلك في المكان والزمان الذي ترى الكاتبة أن الله قد أراد للنساء أن يعشن فيه. فتتمثل رحلة الكاتبة إلى أعماق حواء مسيرةً نحو الحنان والدفء والعاطفة والإيثار. ويتناول الكتاب النقاط التي يجب مراعاتها عند تربية البنات مثل أهمية التعليم وأهمية زرع الإيمان بالله والتغذية بالقراءات المفيدة، بالإضافة إلى إكسابهن صفات الاعتناء بجمال الروح والنفس والجسد والأخلاق والمُثُل، لتتعلم المرأة متى تتكلم ومتى تسكت، ومتى تبكي ومتى تبتسم، كل ذلك يعد من وجهة نظر الكاتبة تمهيداً لإعدادها لدورها بوصفها زوجة وربة أسرة وأماً. وتتحدث الكاتبة عن الحياة الزوجية ومعنى الزواج وأهميته راسمة بذلك الطريق الذي ترى أنه يجب على المرأة أن تسلكه من أجل حياة هنيئة تضمن السعادة لها ولغيرها.The book A Journey to the Depths of Eve draws an image of womanhood illustrating the literary, social, cultural and spiritual rights of women on the one hand and the fundamental and primary roles of women as wives, mothers and daughters on the other; this is carried out in accordance with the divine purpose accorded to them by God. Eve, according to the writer, embodies warmth, love, emotion and sacrifice. The writer outlines the issues that she believes should be taken into consideration in girls’ upbringing such as the importance of a solid education and the instilling of strong piety, as well as cultural enrichment with suitable books. Girls must also be brought up for the proper appreciation of all kinds of beauty- beauty of the body, soul, morals and ideals. They should be taught when to speak and when not to, when to use tears for their own benefit and when to hide them, and when to smile and when not to, all of this is necessary, according to the writer, in preparation for their roles as housewives and mothers. The writer explores the ingredients of a good marriage and the meaning of marriage in general and its importance, illustrating the correct path that she believes should be taken by women so as to lead happy and productive lives.
