Do women really have a different nature than men? Are men and women intrinsically different? The book The Nature of Women: Various Approaches was written to reveal the answers generated in a discussion held by the Women and Memory Forum in 2001. This round table discussion aimed to battle the stereotypical views on the prescribed nature of women which result in their marginalization, rob them of their civil rights and, when necessary, are used politically against them. In order to reach objective answers on the nature of women, psychological, sociological, anthropological, religious, historical and intellectual evidence is provided by the participating researchers.
