About WMF
The Women and Memory Forum (WMF) is a non-profit organization founded in 1995 to challenge dominant narratives about Arab women. Through research, archiving, and cultural initiatives, WMF produces and shares knowledge on the historical and contemporary roles of women in the Arab region.

Internship Overview
WMF seeks motivated interns to support archival and documentation projects on pioneering Egyptian women. This internship provides hands-on experience in documentation, archiving, and digital content development within a cultural non-profit setting.

Eligibility & Profile
Open to undergraduate students and recent graduates in Humanities or Social Sciences (e.g., History, Literature, Cultural Studies, Gender Studies, Sociology, Anthropology).

Ideal candidates are:
 Interested in women’s history, feminism, and cultural heritage
 Strong in research, writing, and communication (Arabic & English)
 Detail-oriented, professional, punctual, and respectful of sensitive materials

Terms
 18 hours/week during August 2026.
 In-person at WMF offices in Cairo.
 Flexible scheduling based on availability.
 Symbolic honorarium provided for transportation.
