Believing in the importance of free access to knowledge, the Women and Memory Forum offers its original and translated publications in open access (in addition to the print version), making them available to the public to view and download free of charge.

 WMF Publications include:

  • Feminist Translation in the Social Sciences and Humanities Series: a series of academic books that present an Arabic translation of feminist writings and research material on gender issues.
  • Arabic translation of The Encyclopedia of Women and Islamic Cultures (EWIC): the WMF published Volume I entitled “Methodologies, Paradigms and Sources.”
  • Memory Papers: a research series of occasional papers on pivotal feminist issues across history.
  • Writings by Pioneer Egyptian Women republished by the WMF.
  • Women’s Voices: a series of publications documenting the lives and memories of women public figures in the history of Egypt.
  • Grey Literature: the WMF published a diverse collection that includes conference proceedings, the WMF campaign reports, in addition to the non- periodicals newsletter Letters from Memory published in Arabic and English.
  • Illustrated Books: a collection of academic and public-awareness publications that explore Egyptian Women’s issues and history “in words and pictures.”
  • Feminist stories: collections of folktales and fairytales, rewritten from the women’s point of view and from a gender-sensitive perspective.
  • Educational and awareness-raising material in the field of gender for children and adults.
