WMF Receives the Gender Equality Award from the French Institute in Egypt

The Women and Memory Forum (WMF) received the Gender Equality Award from the French Institute in Egypt, which grants this award for the first time this year. The award came in recognition of the WMF’s proposed project for a media campaign to spread awareness on gender equality and feminism. The award was announced during the International Women’s Day celebration on the 8^th of March, at the Cairo headquarters of the French Institute in Egypt.
