WMF Organizes a Gender Studies Course in Collaboration with the American University in Cairo

The Women and Memory Forum (WMF) organized a Gender Studies Course in collaboration with the American University in Cairo (AUC). The course was conducted in the Arabic language, during the period from 3 to 6 February 2020, from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM, at Hill House (room 601) inside the AUC Tahrir Campus.

Course agenda:

Day (1) 3 February 2020: Conceptual introduction to gender studies and methodologies.

Day (2) 4 February 2020: History of feminist movements in the Global North and Global South.

Day (3) 5 February 2020: Reinterpreting religious and historical texts.

Day (4) 6 February 2020: Oral history and archiving.
