WMF Organizes a Book Discussion of Afaf Mahfouz’s Autobiography Min al-Khawf ila al-Horriya in the First Session of “WMF Talks: Autobiography Series”

The Women and Memory Forum (WMF) organized a seminar to discuss Afaf Mahfouz’s autobiography, Min al-Khawf ila al-Horriya [From Fear to Freedom: The Journey of an Egyptian Woman from Upper Egypt Across the Atlantic], written by Khaled Mansour, and published in 2023 by al-Kotobkhan Publishing House. The book discussion was held on Wednesday 29 January 2025, at the WMF headquarters in Cairo, and was moderated by Dr. Amal Abu al-Fadl. The book discussion is the first session in the Autobiography Series of WMF Talks.
