WMF Organizes a Seminar in Cairo to Discuss Somaya Ramadan’s Novel Leaves of Narcissus

The Women and Memory Forum (WMF) organized a book discussion of Somaya Ramadan’s novel Leaves of Narcissus, which is awarded the Naguib Mahfuz Novel Prize for 2001. The discussion was held in May 2001 at Greater Cairo Library, and featured Dr. Mohammad al-Beriri, Professor of Arabic Literature at the University of Beni Soueif and the American University in Cairo. Dr. Samia Mehrez, Professor of Arabic Literature at the American University in Cairo, and Dr. Sahar al-Mougi, Lecturer of English Literature at Cairo University.
