WMF Organizes a Seminar to Discuss Its Recent Publication Qalat al-Rawiya: Gender-Sensitive Storytelling

Share

The Women and Memory Forum (WMF) organized a book discussion of Qalat al-Rawiya: Gender-Sensitive Storytelling, published in 1999 by the WMF. The discussion was held in February 2001, and featured Dr. Nabila Ibrahim, Helmy el-Namnam and Dr. Nihad Selaiha. The book discussion examined the folkloric aspect of the book and its idea of rewriting history, in addition to the theatrical form of popular storytelling from a gender-sensitive perspective.
