WMF’s Trustee Rania Abdel Rahman at the GOHA International Conference in Beirut

Dr. Rania Abdel Rahman presented her latest research at the Gender Oral History Archive (GOHA) International Conference held between 5 and 6 November 2025 at the American University in Beirut (AUB). Her paper, entitled “Creativity in Times of War: Palestinian Women Artists’ Storytelling Through Art and Life History,” explores the life of three women artists in/from Gaza.
Dr. Rania is an Assistant Professor of Comparative Cultural Studies at Cairo University and a member of the WMF’s board of trustees.
