The Women and Memory Forum (WMF) organized a book discussion of the memoir Teta, Mother, and Me and its Arabic translation, recently published by the National Center for Translation in Egypt. The event was held on Wednesday 22 May 2024 at the WMF headquarters in Cairo, and was attended by the author Jean Said Makdisi and the translator Hala Kamal. The book discussion was moderated by Dr. Hoda Elsadda and featured Dr. Ferial Ghazoul.
